Adoption & Foster Care

Whether you’ve been around Fellowship Church for a while as a foster or adoptive family, or if you’re new to our community, we would love to get to know you. Below are links to people ready and waiting to support you, facebook groups, care groups, and even the first steps towards becoming an adoptive or foster parent.

Take Your First Step

You can help us get to know you and your family's unique needs by filling out the Introduction Form, surround yourself with other adoptive and foster care families by selecting a Care Group, or take your first step towards adopting or fostering through KAFCAM—a  partner ministry who specializes in helping direct and equip families who feel ready to answer God's call to become adoptive or foster parents.

Foster Care

Additional care

Raising children who have experienced complex childhood trauma can be challenging. If your family is walking through a difficult season, we would love to wrap around you with care and support. Please complete the form below to have a member of our team reach out.

How you can support our families

Foster and adoptive families are so important to us, and we have tangible ways for anyone to get involved. God does not call all of us to foster or adopt, but we are all called to care about the vulnerable. Helping  families in our area through some of the ways listed below gives all of us an opportunity to show the love of Jesus to those in need.

W.R.A.P. Ministry

WRAP is a tool that helps mobilize the people of Fellowship Church to reflect Jesus to adoptive and foster children and the families who care for them.

It consists of four primary ways the body of Christ can serve these children and the families who have welcomed them into their home:
W | Words of Encouragement – Text, call & write letters of encouragement to families who are fostering children.
R | Relief Care – Give foster families respite through acts of babysitting, taking children out for playdates, and more.
A | Acts of Service – Providing meals, helping with housework, lawn care, and more.
P | Prayer – Spending time in intentional prayer for the foster family you are assigned.

Respite Care

Sometimes our foster and adoptive parents just need a break. We have opportunities to help with babysitting, serve at a Parent's Night Out event, etc.

First Responders

First Responders are people who serve foster and adoptive families at the moment they receive news of a child placement by providing groceries, meals, clothing, and light chores.

Donate to Lifesong for Orphans

Lifesong seeks to mobilize the Church to care for the orphan, where each member can provide a unique and special service: some to adopt, some to care, some to give.

All money contributed is given directly to a Fellowship Church family that is in the adoption process. Enter your donation amount under Special Designated with fund code 935 in the memo line.

Safe Families

Safe Families for Children hosts vulnerable children and creates extended family–like support for desperate families through a community of devoted volunteers who are motivated by compassion to keep children safe and families intact.
