THE ALBURYS
Praise the Lord as He has blessed our family and Camp Bahamas since we began this journey almost 20 years ago. We saw over 600 attend Camp Bahamas this last summer and had over 50 decisions for Christ and were able to baptize 52 youth as they wanted to take the next step of obedience in owning their faith. What a great summer it was. We had over 60 staff of which many of them were former campers who are now taking the next step in becoming mentors to the next generation. They are now discipling while being discipled. Incredible to watch God awaken their spirits to following Jesus with passion and excitement. We are currently finishing the Kitchen/ Dining Hall, working on completing the Director's Housing and finalizing the latest additions to the CB facility that we added this last summer. God is good and our prayer for our Staff and Campers this summer is that they would be able to "Taste and See the Goodness of God" in their lives this year. We are excited about the future of CB and the direction that God is taking us. Our family truly loves the ministry and the involvement we get to have in seeing lives changed for Christ. Alexa (18) graduated high school this year and is taking her first semester to work at CB and get more involved in the running of CB and discipleship of our campers. Jessa (16) is embarking on her senior year of high school and looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead. Mia (14) is going into 10th grade and really started helping this year in the technical side of the ministry. Ella (13) is starting 8th grade and is ready for college....lol! Rocco (11) loves life and all things CB, he is starting 6th grade. We have fall Missions teams coming out this year as well as some church retreats for men and women, we are also hosting a pastors conference at our facility so we can equip the local pastors in our country. God is good and we are fully aware that our mission stays on point. "Where the youth of today, find HOPE for tomorrow" I Peter 1:3
