buddy Ministry

Buddy ministry disciples, loves and develops kids in K - 5th grade, who are impacted by developmental or medical needs. Because we believe every child is a part of the Body of Christ, we strive to include all children in a developmentally appropriate environment. Our ministry partners with parents / guardians as they participate in the life of the church.

How do I request support for my child?

1.) Contact our Director of Buddy Ministry, Toni Shumaker at toni.shumaker@fellowshipknox.org to start the conversation.
2.) We use a multi-step process to help kids integrate. We may offer materials, systems or a buddy who can provide one-on-one support for your kid. Utilizing the "Buddy" system, we pair your child with a volunteer who will assist your child in Fellowship Kids.
3.) Meet with Toni and the assigned Buddy team. It could take a little time to get the right team in place. The conversation will continue as we get to know you and your kid.
